Stretch Marks? None
Sleep: Sleep is still unpredictable, tiredness is constant. I finally caved and bought some Unisom (a class B medication for pregnancy) so that I have it if I need it.
Best Moment this Week: I got to see our sweet babe again today! Lots of growth going on in there. Babe is measuring 7w6d so just a little ahead which the doctor said is fine. Heart rate was 155bpm.
Have you told your friends? Yes! We know it is VERY early, but since we have been so open about this process, we knew that we would share our news pretty early on.
Miss Anything? Caffeine! Once I finally hit the second trimester I will get back to my regular 1 cup a day of coffee.
Anything make you queasy or sick? Some very very slight queasiness, but nothing significant & no throwing up.
Have you started to show? Probably more PIO bloat and a full belly than the actual baby showing.
Gender prediction: I still think boy. We are going to do the NxGen test once I hit 11 weeks. It will test for Trisomy 18, 21, & 13 & it will tell us the gender. We will only have to pay $10 for the test no matter what our insurance covers (or doesn't) so it's well worth the money & the peace of mind early on.
Labor Signs: Definitely not.
Belly Button in or out? In as usual.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time: Still more moody than happy, but I feel like my moods are improving a bit.
Looking forward to: I go back next Wednesday for our 8 week ultrasound!
I always crave sweets while pregnant its uncontrollable. Can't wait to hear what you are having. So excited for you.
ReplyDeleteWhat brand of Greek cream cheese do you buy?
ReplyDeleteI craved sweets too when I was never a sweets person :) And I took Unisom my whole pregnancy. It saved me!!!
Yay for a growing healthy baby! At how exciting that you will get to know the gender so soon!
ReplyDeleteJust saw your instagram post! This is so freakin' exciting!!! With the heartbeat rate, it is still looking like a boy for you (if you go by that whole old wives' tale thing). We got the genetic testing done too and found out we're having a girl and the lowest her heartbeat rate has been (from the time we first heard her heartbeat which wasn't until I was about 10 weeks I think- pregnancy brain right now) 160 and they say 160 and above is a girl. So in a few weeks we'll see if that tale is right for you too!
