Friday Favorites

Favorite Moment:
Two favorites again this week, both of which happened on Wednesday.  One being that we closed on our house!  So happy we got that check in the bank and that chapter of our lives closed.  Two is that we finally have a plan for our IVF procedure.  You can read more about it here.  So happy that we are moving forward with this.
Favorite Song:
George Strait, I Got a Car has been giving me chills these last few weeks.  I just love the sound of this song.  Love the words.  Love that it’s George!  I couldn't find an "official" video, but this one does the trick, you can at least hear the song.

 Favorite Quote:
“Today I will behave as if this is the day I will be remembered” Dr. Seuss
 Favorite Workout:
Let’s face it; I’ve been realllllly bad about working out so far this year.  I probably only stepped foot in the Y once since January 1 and that’s really unlike me & not good at all.  After my laparoscopy surgery last October I hardly got back to the gym at all.  I’ve been feeling guilty and unhappy with myself.  That all changed this week.  I went to Curves & loved it.  It’s a 30 minute circuit plus about 3 minutes of cool-down stretching.  It’s tailored for women and includes both cardio and strength training.  The machines are amazing because they use hydraulics rather than the weights that you see on a normal piece of equipment.  After my two week trial I will start the SmartCard program where you get a card that you stick in each machine and it challenges you to work harder.  Even after one day I felt amazing.  It felt great to just be back to working out.
 Favorite Netflix Find:
Joe and I watched Insidious 2 (which was really good!) and a movie called Odd Thomas.  Totally recommend both of them.  Insidious 2 is obviously a scary movie, Odd Thomas is more of a comedy, but it’s about a guy who is a clairvoyant and uses his gift to help others.  I also restarted for the 3rd time now Scrubs, from season 1.  One of my favorite shows of all time.  Such great messages mixed with great humor.
Favorite Recipe  Meal:
I say meal rather than recipe because I didn’t cook it, a restaurant did!  We went to BASH (Burger And Sushi House) for GNO on Wednesday and I had loaded mac-n-cheese and yes it was every bit as amazing as it sounds!  If you follow me on Instagram then you’ve already seen its cheesy goodness in all its glory.  Bonus, I didn’t have to cook it!
Favorite Pin:
how stinkin' cute is this!?
Favorite Thing I’m Looking Forward To:
Going to visit little baby Jase tomorrow & getting a pedicure!  There's going to be a lot of lull the next few months while we wait for July to roll around so there may be a lack of updates in that department.  I will try to occupy myself with other things & pray that the time goes by fast!
Favorite Funnies:

A-cup with a big butt...
#truth (probably for best though)
