#GuiltyTotalSocial

Helene in Between

Linking up again with the lovely Helene and Sarah for another installment of Total Social!  This month's theme is guilty pleasures, which we all have!  Here are a few of mine...

1.  The Real Housewives of Orange County/Beverly Hills
Guilty as charged.  I watch this show (only these two though) religiously and have since the OC's first season.  Joe hates when I watch it because it's full of "drama and dumb girls" so he says.  It's the only show on our DVR that we don't watch together.  I watch it after work or when he's not around!

 2.  Double Stuf Oreos
I cannot resist a Double Stuf Oreo.  I could definitely eat an entire package, but I try to limit myself to one (or maybe two) a day if I have them in the house.  If I'm eating an Oreo I don't want lime flavored, vanilla, or original, it has to be a DOUBLE stuf!

3.  Social Media
I'm sure that this is probably a guilty pleasure of most people.  I am probably a little bit too obsessed with Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Etsy, Bloglovin, Blogger, etc. I know that my husband would say that I am.  Sometimes I just love to see how many followers I have on Bloglovin or how many likes that my #ALSIceBucketChallenge video got on Instagram & Facebook.

4.  Fountain Soda
I try my damndest to drink the recommended 64oz. of water a day.  I stay away from soda as much as I possibly can during the week, but when our weekly Saturday morning routine rolls around and my mom and I are out for lunch I almost always have a fountain Coke or Cherry Coke.  I'd much rather hold out for a fountain soda all week as a treat to myself than drink it out of a can any day!

5.  80's Horror Flicks
I don't necessarily think that these are "guilty" pleasures, but some might.  I'm a sucker for any movie made by John Carpenter, or any cheesy 80's horror flick like Friday the 13th, Prom Night, Sleepaway Camp,  Hellraiser, and Poltergeist .  They're fun to watch, and I've watched them hundreds of times. My dad had me watching Freddy Krueger movies at the age of 3!

  1. OMG I have to admit I've seen your video on IG like 5 times already and every time I still laugh. My sister was obsessed with Nightmare on Elm Street she thought she was Nancy. I on the other hand could not see them I was too of a chicken.

  2. Oreos are delicious, and I will continue to eat them despite the studies they did with lab rats (basically rats responded to the oreos the same way they did to addictive drugs)! I probably also check social media more than I should (and definitely blog stats!). But I must know what everyone is doing all the time!!!

  6. I gave up coke for lent one year and now I can't drink it at all. It completely burns my throat and tastes way too sweet. It was a blessing and a curse. It use to be my absolute favorite.

  10. I have the same issue with watching the OC, hubby thinks the show is dumb. I see why he thinks that but I can't help but watch it!

  17. Joe and Matt have the same opinion of The Real Housewives series! I've been an OC fan for years and was really into NJ before Caroline left, but I quit cold turkey this season.

  19. Oreos are the worst because it is seriously almost impossible to eat just one..or two..or even three. Those suckers disappear so fast.

  20. I love the same Real Housewives too! Ones like Miami and New York annoy me!!! Definitely a guilty pleasure though. My husband is the same - he doesn't understand it, and think that it's garbage tv haha!!
